In my view, cosmetic surgery is nonsense and people should be satisfied with their own natural physical appearances. First of all, I think cosmetic surgery is a short-term beauty fix and it can make people become addicted to it. Some people normally conceal weakpoint of their body structures by dressing up and it definitely shows many perfect results. Moreover some of them can improve their personality by doing exercises, so I'm absolutely sure that good results of this could be more long-life than surgery. Infact, an article in the Time magazine reveals a researh of the U.S. that over a three-year period since 2008, the percentage of people who have continued to do more cosmetic surgery have increased dramatically every year, being 15%, 27% and 38% respectively. The second, people who have done cosmetic surgery put themselves into risky situations. In my experience, there are many people who are miserable after modifying their noses and upper eyelids. Some of them have refixed them several time, and some have faced many side effects, for example, it is swollen, hurtful, painful, and they look strange and ridiculous rather than look good, as well as their health are deteriorated. According to a report in the ABC News shows that in 2010 almost 50 percent of people who did the cosmetic surgery have got thier health problem because of the its side effects. Lastly, I believe that it is quite a waste of time and money. People spend a lot of time on making a decision to do it, they have to review and revise a lot of information such as trustworthy places, reputable doctors, its side effects, and they also need time to recover themselves after surgery. Furthermore, a large amount of money is needed to fulfill their aspiration. Indeed, a 2009 study by the Asian Times shows that since 2005, people have spent at least $12,000 per person each year on it. As a result, in my opinion, the cosmetic surgery is like a production of plastic flowers, so I think that "plastic flowers" are not as awesome as "natural flowers" at all.
