Going on a diet has become a way of life, for you can see weight loss advertisement anywhere. It is good for fat people, but it doesn't seem to be suitable for skinny people. I show it causes some diesases for skinny people and it has bad influence for young people. Finally,I refute the other side of the argument.
In my opinion, skinny people shouldn't go on diets. It is unhealthy and there isn't enough nutrition for the body. People need to get some kind of well-balanced food . Skinny people already look unhealthy. They don't need go on diets anymore. I'm afraid that going on a diet for them causes some dieases. There are a number of people suffering from anorexia and bulimia. Researchers reported that even skinny couch potatoes have an increased risk of heart disease. Once they get these diseases, it is difficult to recover from them. At the worst, it might result in death. These illnesses are not physical, but mental. Such people don't think they are skinny, which means they never stop dieting. People who get diseases try to eat and if they can eat, they get guilty feelings and as a result they vomit everything.
It has bad influence for younger people. They admires the skinny people and they think skiny is good and attractive.Especially teenagers are interested in model for magazine,who are very skinny and they dress very well.Teenager think the model should be skinny. Nowadays, the model company employs the super models who aren't skinny to stop going on a diet for them.In 2006 the Spanish Government made a rule that any girl whith a body mass index(BMI) of less than 18 would not be allowed to model in catwalk shows.
This is why skiny people shouldn't go on a diet but should eat more and be fat. It looks better and it is healthier.
On the other hand, other people have suggested skinny people should go on a diet. For example, people who organize idols and models force skinny people to go on a diet. Those people think they should be skinny and keep it. If they get fat, they should be fired.It is strict for them.A lot of teenager are crazy about diet, which means they are at the susceptible age and care about their appearance. It is dangerous for teenagers to go on a diet, for they have a lot of ups and downs for weight in their age. Their body hasn't been mature, so even if they are fat, they shouldn't go on a diet.
In this way, going on diet doesn't suit for skinny people.Nearly everyone are interested in going on a diet, and it gets more popular. You shouldn't forget diet might cause some diseases. If you want to lose your weight, you should eat well-balanced food and excercise.For younger people, skinny might be attractive,but it isn't healthy.There is more to diet than not eating.
