Advantages and Disadvantages of studying in Australia (Perth)

We are thinking about the issue, why people are choosing Australia as country for their studies abroad. Australia is a big country, one of the most interesting places to live in the world. You can find amazing things, big opportunities, studying and working. It is a countries that offer you many ways to spend your free time and also it has some disadvantages, which you should know.

One of the advantages is, that people in Australia are friendly, openhearted, and uncomplicated in communication. This is important for studying in a foreign country. When I would ask something, and don't find the right word to explain, it is important, that the person, to whom I'm speaking, is friendly and patient until I have found the words. Good is, when the person tries to communicate with me in an uncomplicated style.
And the other one is the "entertainment in Australia, especially Perth". Actually, we have several entertainments such as North Bridge to drink, billiards, casino and more, yet they are still boring for international students to enjoy night life or have a lot of fun. However, they might help international students to concentrate to study English, for there are not enough entertainments around Perth city, in addition to it, even the shops close around 5 to 5:30 pm, so nothing disturbs you by studying. In another words, Perth is the best place to study because of the lacks of entertainment.
There are as well disadvantages: When you are studying during the day or working, in Australia is a little bit difficult to do your daily shopping. Because the shops are only open from 9 am until 5 pm. The class finishes at 3:15 in the afternoon. So there isn't much time for to buy daily stuff.
It's a little bit confusing for some countries, for example Swiss, Italian or French people, that they are driving on the other side on the street. Passing the street means, that you have to look first on the other side as usual. In case you rent a car you have to get used to drive on the left side in the spinning  top. You have to know that the shift is  on the left side as usual on the right.
To come to Australia is a real dream for many people, although there are some disadvantages that make people big changes in our life. Students choose Perth without thinking about the long travel from countries such as Brazil, Switzerland, Germany, Colombia and others. It means the time everyone is completely different and you have to adapt to it. On the other hand when you arrive, you realise that the cost of life here is too expensive. You can't imagine, how much the medical issues cost. You must have good health insurance. Living in Australia obliges you to change your food habits, unless you don't miss your own fruit and products, all food tastes very different.

Australia is a wonderful country to live, to study and to work. It has great places, friendly people and amazing wildlife. Alternatively, some countries people might feel the inconvenience of living in Australia such as transports, the closing time of all shops, the lacks of an entertainment, and more, yet they just require to get used to living in Australia as soon as they can, after that they would forget about it completely!
